Step 5 – Write Pages and Posts

updated July 1, 2016

You acquired a domain name, found a web host, installed WordPress, chose a striking theme and installed essential plugins for a solid foundation.

Now for the most important part. Your message.

When you communicate in WordPress, you do so via a page or a post.

A page is static. In this website, a few of my pages are my FAQ, my About Me page, or this page that you’re reading right now.

A post is found in a blog. It differs from a page in that each new post takes the place of the previous post. So on a blog page, you will always see the most recent post at the top. You can see all my posts right here on my blog.

In the following video I demonstrate how to create both pages and posts.
